Abstract

|
Vaccines of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) causing serious respiratory diseases in infants and the elderly have been developed. However, it is difficult to develop effective RSV vaccine owing to several limitations. To develop effective RSV vaccine, it is essential to examine the humoral and cell-mediated immunity that play an important role in reinfection and clearing of RSV. This paper introduces various RSV vaccine candidates.
